The Solvent

I promised myself I wouldn’t blog about topics & ideas as if I’m pushing my own agenda. Forgive me, because one thing has changed my life so well I have to rave about it. There has been a lot of research behind it, so it isn’t my own theory. It actually works. It’s “exercise.”

The problem with advice is that it wants to be sooooo special & sound so sophisticated & it profits off you returning because it never really gives great advice you can use on your own. Listen, exercise will solve most of your problems (not all).

Once I started exercising, it improved important parts of my life, including things that seemed completely unrelated.Things I always postponed improving. Imagine if I offered you a pill, it was completely free, you could do it anywhere & it would lead to better:

Sleep – I’m not very disciplined in terms of sleeping at a specific time every night.

Health – I can endure a run more than I usually could.

Looks – I mean, 80% of dudes lift weights to get their chance with women (nothing wrong with it too).

If it’s so great, why isn’t everyone doing it? Exercising isn’t easy, but it can be. For me, starting with very little exercise helped. I started with a 1 min run (yes, 1 minute). After some time, I felt I could do better than 1, so I did 5 minutes. I was stuck at 5 for a very long time, but it motivated me to do more. Nowadays, I usually go on 5k runs & jog a lot, which I enjoy.

Which is another very important point about exercise. Do an exercise you enjoy. Social exercise is a great example.
